I have always given her the benefit of the doubt when she did stupid things like driving with the baby in her lap and securing him in the carseat the wrong way. We are all human and just figuring this "baby thing" out.....they don't come with a manual.

That being said....WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS WRONG WITH HER?!! A cat has more of a mothering instinct than this girl. Going out partying everyday and acting like a hooch and dressing like a skank is not casting her in the role of "mother of the year". She needs to remember that children don't ask to be brought into this world and they deserve parents that love, nurture and are THERE for them.

I think one day she will feel really badly when they are calling Grandma....Mom....

Like LL, I think Britney was thrust in the limelight too young by greedy parents.
I think she treats her kids like her dogs - great accessories but something someone else can be hired to take care of while she makes up for lost time. I think she's trashy.

Before she and Kevin broke up (I think it was during the Matt Lauer interview), she kept saying how she wants to be normal and have the media leave her alone. Somehow I think panty-less shots, partying everynight, and passing out at a club doesn't discourage the media from giving you less attention.

I get the impression that her early career was more PR and good publicists and this is the 'real' her. That Matt Lauer interview was a shocker!! She looked terrible and sounded less than intelligent, and the gum chewing, ewww. What can you expect from someone who was groomed from an early age to perform and didn't have a real adolescence?

Agreed. I've been giving mama Spears the benefit of the doubt for a while now because I really was a fan of hers for the longest time. But I am so disappointed in her behavior lately. She is the mother of two small children and she needs to start acting like it. She's one of many young women who don't understand that once you have kids, it isn't about YOU anymore, it's about them. That doesn't mean you can't go out once in a while, heck, even once or twice a week would be okay. But she's out EVERY single night acting as though she has no responsibilities. Someone I know mentioned "well, she's home with them during the day." Well...is she really? Because if she is out partying until 5 or 6 in the morning I somehow doubt she is up and ready to be a mother to her kids in the day time. I would love to see a Britney comeback, I really would. But at this rate I really don't think that's going to happen. She had the golden opportunity when she filed for divorce from that loser K-Fed. She could have gotten started right away on getting back into music and getting her public image back to what it once was. We saw her looking great for about 3 days before she started this train wreck of a lifestyle. Oh Brit

Why would anyone get their information from rag magazines and believe it? Not about Britney but about anyone that is in those. Those things are nothing but lies.

Actually, one of the observations I have made recently is that a lot of the "rumors" in gossip mags like "US Weekly" and "In Touch" turn out to be true. When they were printing rumors of Angelina and Brad it turned out to be true, when they were saying that Jennifer and Vince were broken up and trying not to let the press onto it, it turned out to be true, when they were reporting marital troubles between Reese and Ryan they ended up getting divorced, etc. etc. I think a lot of these celebrities have people in their circle's who aren't as trustworthy as they think and that's where these mags are getting their info from. Because about 90% of these rumors turn out to be the truth. Just something I've noticed.

Does anyone else besides me think that she looks about 20 years older than she is? I don't know her exact age, but to me she looks like a 45 year old who's been around the block a few times.

I hope no 45 year olds are offended by this. I am 60 and would LOVE to only look 45 so I'm not saying that 45 is bad. I just think it's sad to look 45 because of hard, hard partying when you are only 25 .

I think Britney is finally having her childhood. Her life was micromanaged by her mom.Then she was married and had kids pretty quickly. She was never allowed to have a normal teen life. I'm not saying she should party every night but once a week won't hurt. She just needs to wear panties.
We really don't know about her personal life. Frankly,the Enquirer is not the best source of information.

But she's not going out once a week, she's going out nearly every day. There's always new pictures of Britney to be seen out and partying to her hearts content.

And I'll have you know I do not read The Enquirer. I read much more respected magazines like you know, US Weekly

But I guess MY point is, yes she may have not had much of a childhood but nobody forced her to marry Kevin Federline (if anything they tried to talk her out of marrying that slime) and no one told her she should have babies at this point in her life. That was her decision. And now, instead of being a mom to her kids she is out partying every night.

Sorry but that dog don't hunt. She's been photographed repeatedly without her panties, being carried out of clubs nightly, giving her boyfriend "favors", vomiting on her new boyfriend. I'm not a fan of those rags in general, but when it comes to Brit the real culprit is Brit.

I also buy the highly respected Us weekly. I sometimes buy Star which I swear.... has really changed and is no longer like the Enquirer. I also check out Perezhilton.com throughout the day. Disboards.....Perez....nice balance don't you think??
