Yes, when our girls were sprayed at 12:30am, this is what we used. It worked fairly well and then in the morning, I went and bought Nature's Miracle Skunk Deodorizer and that finished off the smell on the dogs and the furniture.

What a mess! We have been very careful when letting them out at night since then.

When my girl was sprayed it too happened at 12:30am. I was up all night on the internet trying to figure out what to do. Thats how I found that information. It worked great!

You'd be surprised as to the number of uses for Hydrogen Peroxide. It even puts space ships into orbit.

We have had good luck with lemon juice and with vinegar, each followed by a baking sode/water rinse.

I saw this exact site on Sunday night when this happened to the dog! Luckily, he only got sprayed a little in the ear, but it was still smelly!!!

As a little FYI, that same recipe works for getting rid of urine smell from carpets. Learned that one the hard way. My dog had a bladder infection recently and had an accident on my bedroom carpet. I couldn't even go in the room, it smelled so bad. I tried using a carpet cleaner several times and it still smelled. I saw online the peroxide, baking soda, white vinegar combo and after the first application it was gone. I did it a few more times to make sure and went over it with the carpet cleaning machine again.

I've used that concoction twice on our Beagle...once at 1:30AM in January when it was 20 degress outside...never saw a dog shake so much.
