Has anyone worn their wedding dress to V&A?

My DH and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year and I thought about going to V&A to celebrate. Has anyone worn their wedding dress to dinner there and would it be out of place?

Tbh I think it would be out of place, but then if you don't mind the masses of attention, it might be for you.

Why not wear a nice silver/grey outfit and a floral pin/corsage of wedding flowers as a nice momento

I say absolutely wear it - we wore our VR attire to V&A and it was fabulously romantic and a great way to celebrate the day - we stopped in Mizner's before our reservation and I even had a little girl tell me I looked like a Princess -

My sister wore her dress for our dinner at the Chef's Table in V&A. She got a round of applause when she met us in Mizner's and another as we made our way to the kitchen. It was a lovely night

I think it would be lovely!! I wish we could fit V&A into our schedule this year so we could wear our wedding attire but there just isn't enough time

I was going to say exactly this... but my sister beat me to it!

Do it! You won't regret it and they will make a bit of a fuss but that's the point right? To celebrate and enjoy the day

I think the real answer here would be that it depends on you and the dress. If you feel that the dress would be comfortable enough that you can sit through a few hours of eating, then you should definitely wear it, but if the dress isn't very comfortable... then you may not enjoy the dining experience.

(Disclaimer: never worn a wedding dress, and never eaten at V&A, but hope to someday!)

I say wear it if you want to-you only get one 25th wedding anniversary! I cannot imagine that any staff or guests would judge you.
