Has anyone using a wheelchair been able to do the automatic check in service

I just don't feel comfortable doing this for our trip.

I have some special requests like a refrigerator for medical reasons. We have the need for a roll in shower setup, too.

Has anyone here trusted doing it this way for check-in? Tell me your story. TIA

We did it on our last trip and had no problem. In fact once we got there they went over our requests to make sure everything was all right. You still have to talk to the front desk people when you get there. All the online check in in my book does is to allow Disney to have some of your paper work all ready to go with everything except room number.

Have you already arranged for the roll in shower? Each hotel has limited availability for these.

For my mom's trip in October, they have already "blocked off" our room at the CR and the GF - they even made sure that we were okay with no daybed at the GF because the only room they could give us (staying SL) didn't have a daybed. They had to call me back about the CR room since at first they couldn't get the roll in shower (offered me a shower bench and a raised toilet) but they were able to block me a room that meets our needs.

If not staying club level, I'd have no problem doing the online check in since I am confident that our rooms are already set with our requirements.

I may or may not do it, but it's nice to know that it won't get messed up if you have special requests.

We just used it and will be leaving this Tuesday. I went ahead and tried it based on the responses I had to the same question. You do need to confirm that your request for an accessible room is already part of your existing reservation. Wish me luck!
