Has anyone used Uber/Lyft instead of buses for their trips?

Like have you used them exclusively and not taken a bus at all? We are definitely going to use them for our two HS days and a breakfast at Boma's, but it got me thinking that maybe we will use them more than that. We will be staying at OKW will they pick us up outside our building or at the main building? TIA

Exclusively, No.
A lot? Yes.
We use them TO parks more often than not. However, we are rarely in a huge hurry to return to the resort so we tend to use the buses back.
And of course we always use them resort to resort.

They can pick you up wherever you are at OKW. Just let the app pin to where you are standing

Like AngiTN, exclusively no. We don't even use them as much as she does, we will use Uber when we go out to eat at a resort and the reservation time is too late to catch as bus back to a park to transfer to our resort. We actually don't mind the Disney transportation and are never really in that big of a hurry that the time to take the buses is that big of a deal.

remember they can not drop off at the gate for MK so it is either TTC and use monorail or ferry or Contemp and walk over to MK. and pick up to return to resort is the same and not at gate

Used Lyft last week. Very very convenient for a price of course.

took it to HS and MK (contemporary).
The walk from Contemporary to MK is a bit far 15 minutes I would guess. Not bad in the morning , rough at night I’m tired feet.

Since we usually stay at BWV we walk to HS & EPCOT, we take the buses to MK because as Betty Rohrer said they can't drop you at the gate, so that leaves AK. We used them to get there and get "home" on several occasions, they work out great and are a big time saver. I think the last time we used one to get to AK it was @$12.00 plus tip and we were there in about 10-15 mins.

We’re in the Angi camp. Not exclusively but I would say a good 90% of the time we take Lyft. It’s just more convenient especially for midday transportation to and from parks when buses are awful. I stick with Lyft over Uber due to the fact I constantly get credits from them and one of my cards gives me a $10 credit after 5 rides in a month. Lyft credits also work on Minnie Vans, when we feel like a treat or are running late for something at MK.

Last August it was so humid... worse than prior August visits. I used Minnie Van to get to Magic Kingdom, Lyft to get to DHS and AK. I was at BCV so I walked to Epcot. I don't think I used a bus at all.
