"Swiftlock Gardenstone flooring by Armstrong"

It is interlocking flooring that looks like stone. No glue needed. and moisture resistant. It runs about $3.78/sq. foot.

DH and I do not own a lot of tools or have much experience in home repair of this sort, but would love to have a new kitchen floor. We want something that will not show the dirt (don't we all? ) and gives us that "stone" look.

This product looks as though it will work for us, but we wanted some opinions from anyone that has used it.

You may tell by my recent threads that DH and I are thinking about "sprucing" up our kitchen this spring. We have been looking for info about Armstrong's Swiftlock flooring, and also about painting our kitchen cabinets.

For the cabinets, I know they will have to be sanded, but can we use regular kitchen wall paint or is there a specail paint to use? I would love to have a "distressed" look in a creamy color to brighten up our kitchen. Our counter tops are dark green and appliances in almond which has to stay........anything else can be changed.
