my DD and I are planning on taking the London/Paris Adventures by Disney trip next summer to celebrate her 13th birthday. I'm thinking of using points to 'pay' for my DDs portion. I know that most people would recommend that I rent the points out and use the cash for the trip... but I'm nervous about the idea of renting points, for fear of not getting the $$ for them and really being out of luck financing this trip.
my question for anyone who has used points for ABD is... can I book the trip for 2 and use points for 1 person.... or would I need to book as 2 seperate trips one for me and 1 for DD??
Sorry if this sounds silly, but I've only used my points at WDW before, and am not sure how it works booking for something else.
On the same note... I am considering adding 2-3 nights at DLP after the ABD trip. I read that I have to purchase length of stay tix in order to use points to stay at DLP. Do I purchase those at the time of booking?? How does that work??
