Has anyone used National Amex code lately?

I can get a very good rate at Xmas using the National Amex code, but I do not have an Amex card. My DH has one, but he is not an EA member and we would also like to use a coupon which would require us to stand on lone at the counter (we can use the coupon on EAwith no line).

Will they ask me for my Amex card? If they do, will they accept my DH's card with my ressie?

I'm sure that as long as the Amex card is the one being used to pay for the card, it would be ok. Why not sign up DH for EA and then you can just use his card on the reservation form.

Go to the National website and have DH sign up for EA, no charge. Then, no need to worry.

Just used the AMEX code 8/4-8/11 with no problem.
