I too consider myself a VERY lucky DIS'er! I have met a wonderful man on Dismates. I have no idea what I'd do without him! I love spending time with him and just talking to him! (pretty much everything he said above!) He is so perfect for me and I'm so happy and grateful we found each other on DisMates!

I'm on there too but so far have been unable to upload any photos.......I guess mine are to big, but don't have problems with them on other sites, there seems to be a lot of interesting people over there, perhaps I need to spend more time there and less here!

Dismates is still fairly new and therefor doesn't have very many members yet. Plus the ratio of men to women is GREAT if you are a GUY but not so good for the ladies.

I'm starting to think that because I have been out of the dating loop sooooooo long that it's past the point of no return for me.

I truly love my trips to WDW with my 2 sons but my heart longs to share a trip with someone (an adult) who enjoys the magic as much as I do....does that someone really exist??

In chatting with others on Dismates, and elsewhere, I am convinced that it is very possible to find the love of your life in another state. And if you are truly meant to be together, you will work it out just as you will work out all of life's other challenges. Not only have I changed my attitude about finding the love of of my life locally, I have also found myself being less concerned about age. Rather it is more important I find somone who shares my values, and wants to spend time with me at WDW as often as we can. And I thnk that may be possible of Dismates.

I have to agree with you on this one Dave. I usually only join chat on weekends, but have enjoyed the discussions thus far. I also agree that we may have to look further than initially anticipated. Finding the love of my life, and having that person love WDW - what could be better?!?!?

To locate the Dismates chat, go to www.dismates.com.

Down the left side of the Dismates homepage, you will see a box about the chat...you just hit the button and it will take you into the chat room.

I can relate Dizmom I am in Virginia and have yet to meet anyone from dismates in my area.

I'm only an occasional regular confused3 ) but I'm in WA. So I'm completely out of the loop, esp. since the chat often happens when I have too much to do (make dinner for DS etc.)

But I like the site.
