Has anyone used a taxi service while at WDW?

We usually rent a car for our entire stay, however, right now the prices of rental cars are much higher then usual. Most times we only use the car a few times during our stay and hardly ever leave the property. I was wondering if anyone has ever used a taxi service at WDW and approximately how much these services charge?

Saturday night I took a Taxi from POP to the Poly. With tip it costs $17.00
which I didn't think was too bad.

i know POP to Poly is 17-18
and
CR to POP is 18-20
cabs are everywhere down there and the rates are outstanding compared to here in Pensacola where I drive for yellow.
also if you call yellow; they use the same dds/mdt computer dispatch system that we do; so they can give you very, very close estimates for all the trips you might want to take. call them and price your trips before making your decision.
