We are planning to get to Florida Late Saturday night. Is it possible to call that day and get ressies for that night. Possibly at the hotel we are staying at. We didn't want to make the ressie in advance in case we were unable to make it from PA. Although we did make it about 18hours our last trip. But traffic may be different this time. Thanks for the input.

We have done this a couple of times and were able to get into the same resort we were staying at. I guess it just depends on availablity, we have been lucky but I don't know if that is the norm.

It depends on what time of year you're going. We have been lucky doing this twice however last year we had to take a different resort. We have always had luck adding on at the end though. One trip we extended by 5 nights....just couldn't break away! Yet another advantage to driving down.
