Has anyone tried the Hummerzine or Stretch Navigator at Happy?

Next month is a big extended family trip (it's usually just us), and I'm thinking of splurging on our transportation to SSR from the airport (all the kiddies are flying down together so they'll have some fun together in the limo).

I was thinking of using Happy limo this time because they have some *fun* cars. Has anyone tried the Hummerzine or Navigator stretch? We'll need a limo that seats more than 10, so the others won't work.

Are they fun inside? Did they include beverages and such? Were the drivers helpful?

I thought about that but the description said it only held 10 big pices of luggage and 5 carryons. I have at least 17 people and will have too much luggage.

I think it said that you could get a luggage car. It's free with the Hummer but $30 (?) with the navigator.

I booked the Stretch Hummer/Hummerzine and the stretch Lincoln Navigator with Happy Limo last July. Let's just say they gave me a discount for the troubles I had. The Hummerzine wasn't in proper working condition - a/c didn't work right, the radio was busted, they had to load luggage through your entry door, the door panel on your entry door was broke. We literally were falling into the back of it. Good thing our trusty driver warned us about halfway through the loading process. We were playing balance ourselves on the wobbly door handle game. The stretch Lincoln - the brand new one they boast about was in the shop my entire stay so they showed up with the problematic Hummerzine. It was their '03 model. I wonder what their '02 model was like. I had to call for my driver upon arrival, too. My flight was late, but had been told they monitor for flights. When I called Happy Limo service (at 11:30 at night) to track down my driver after waiting, collecting our luggage and waiting some more. I was less than pleased to hear how he supposedly had us paged and was waiting for us. 20 mins. later he shows up. This was not the way to start off our trip or give us a first good impression.

My advice, don't use HL. It's a waste of hard earned $$$$. There was a really nice stretch white hummerzine at AKL a few days later. Skyy Limo was on the back. You might want to check them out. I should've wrote down their number and tried to arrange for my return trip to the airport, but I thought I should give HL another chance. :guilty: It was extremely disappointed.

BTW, if Skyy is out of your price range on the Hummerzine I would suggest a regular stretch limo with Quick Silver Tours, Jimmy at Golden Limo or Lorton Transportation. I've had excellent dealings with all three of these guys. ::yes:: I didn't have any luck finding other companies with good comments that had a stretch hummer.

Good luck in your quest. If you come up with an alternate transportation company with cool toys, please post and let us know.

We had a wonderful experience with Happy Limo last trip. White stretch to WDW/Black stretch limo back to airport. didn't try any of the special vehicles like a Hummer...would be nice but not practical as there's only 4 of us. I'm getting ready to book with HL again for June/July 2006. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:
