Has anyone tried Keen Rose Sandals?

I know there are huge fans of Keens on the Dis- I've had a few pairs of maryjanes by them over the years and loved them, but never the sandals.

I was in a store yesterday and was able to try on the Newport, the whisper, the Venice, and the rose. The rose for me was by far the most comfortable.

Have any of you worn the Rose all day at wdw? Thoughts?

Thanks so much!!

I have not, though I am a fan of the Newports especially (I also have a pair of Seacamps, both in kids sizes). I would love to know what about the Rose you found to be more comfortable than the others. I like the look of them but have not been able to try them on - they generally aren't available in stores near me, so I would have to order them online. I have been concerned about the lack of adjustability since they do not have the bungee drawstring like the other sandals do. Are they just not as wide to begin with or are they comfortable despite being wide? I would be afraid that my foot would move around too much in them. Any insight is appreciated.

I hear you- I was so excited for the opportunity to try on all the styles! That never happens for me!

They were really lightweight and the strap over the top of the ankle is adjustable- the fit felt like a maryjane to me. I really thought I would like the whispers but the webbing rubbed my foot in a weird way. I have strange feet I guess. With the Rose, that rubbing place on the inside of my foot is open with no strap there to irritate it.

I have the Keen's Rose Sandal and am planning on wearing them for a few park days on our upcoming trip. (I will also wear my Skechers tennis shoes some days.) I have been wearing this pair of Keen Rose Sandals for about a year and wore them while walking all over NYC on vacation last summer. They are broken in, very comfortable and have never given me any problems. So fingers crossed that they are OK for a WDW day next month! I have even been walking in them on the treadmill and on neighborhood walks...no problems. Good luck!

Glad to see this post. I've been thinking about getting a pair of the Rose sandals. I was able to try them on at a store last week. I also tried on the Venice and Newport. I liked the Rose the best. It did seem lighter and seemed to fit my heel just right. Very comfy.
I'm thinking of also getting a pair of the Rose slides for home, but the store didn't have the slides in stock. I'm not sure they would be good WDW shoes.
