Has anyone tried Can-C eye drops on their dog?

My dog has cataracts and I can't afford to go to Spokane to get surgery for her. She seems very happy and gets around great since we leave things out of her way in the house. I've heard about using these Can-C cataract eye drops for dogs and have read many different reviews on them.

It would be $80 per month to try these out, and most sites say you have to give it 6-9 months to see any improvement, so it's a fairly big investment to see if something works.

Just wondered if anyone here on my trusted DISboards had given it a whirl.

Thanks.

I don't know about the drops, but we had a blind dog (due to glaucoma). Be very very careful when cleaning that you put the furniture back in the exact same spot, like after you vacuum. Our poor dog had a heck of a time for a day or so, when my mom would do a big cleaning and not get everything back *exactly* where it had been.

Thank you. Yes, I am constantly on my family to put shoes up in rooms, etc. to keep it the same for her.
