I am considering our 2004 vacaion plans and Key West is one of my choices that is reasonably priced to get to - I would love to go back to Hawaii but airfare for 5 is out of my price range.

Thanks for the info!

I just mentioned Key West in another thread - I have a friend who called at the end of last year for next fall (September) and it was booked solid. Be sure to call early.

You should closely watch Hawaii airfares, you never know... My family & I went in February for 310.00 per person from HARTFORD, CT... it was a major airfare thing that happened the week after New Years... If you want to go to Hawaii, get the trade, watch the fares & subscribe to the www.bestfares.com email list... if a good fare comes across, go over to www.travelocity.com to see if you can book it directly yourself, if you can, go to the airlines direct website for further savings! Bestfares offers good Hawaii fares all year basically, but 550.00 per person (through bestfares) was still too much for me.... Just keep your eyes open for the fare!

Like most warm weather places, Key West will be easy for summer and hard for Xmas to spring break or just after. Place a request AT LEAST a year in advance. Also look for direct exchanges at places like TUG (www.tug2.net).

Thanks for the replies. With an Interval International (I think that is what it is called) you can start the process 24 months in advance - but my window isn't quite there yet so I will hae to call back and start the process.

Chris1gill - that is an AWESOME fare 0 thiat is what I pay for Grand Rapids to Orlando! We did go to Hawaii a two years ago but it was over Christmas so that may be why that was so expensive. I am limited as to when we can go so basing my trip on a sale may not work but I will follow your instructions and see what I can find.

Thanks!
