Has anyone taken a Valco Twin or MBUD to Disney?

So I really love my Valco Trimode Twin and I really want to take it with me when we go down next month. Besides my husband will throw a fit if I tell him I need to get another stroller. This is my main stroller right now and I've taken it pretty much everywhere with little to no problems. I know it'll probably be a pain on the buses, but we'll have our own car and will probably only use the buses once or twice. So anyone that has taken a double jogging stroller tell me your experience.

My back up plans are finding a gently used Mac double or taking two singles which I don't want to do.

Just wondering if you've gone and come back and how it went. We'll be taking a single jogging stroller this time but it's pretty big. Thank goodness we'll have rental car part of the time we're there. I don't think I'd want to try and lug it on and off busses a lot.

We're actually leaving tomorrow  , but I'll let you know how it goes when we come back.

hi there!

we took our mbud to WDW in june... we have a ds (2.5) and a dd (1) and they love their stroller!

we had our own car, so buses weren't an issue for us...
the only real problem we had with it was getting on and off the tram in the MK parking lot... i guess if we had parked closer or just sucked it up and walked it would not have been a problem... on the way in it wasn't as bad - it wasn't too crowded and my DH folded it up and carried in into a seat and my SIL and I had the kids... on the way back to the car, it was harder because it was crowded with all the people leaving the park... but thankfully we were in front of some very nice people on the line to get on the tram and they helped my husband get on... he took up almost an entire car by himself with the stroller...

but i'd bring it back again... the kids were happy in their stroller... they napped well in it so we never had to leave for a break...

oh, also, we took the ferry to WDW instead of the monorail so we could push it right on...

hope your trip is wonderful!

So we just got back on our trip and I'm glad we took the double jogger. We drove almost all the time and just walked to the entrance and the few times we used the bus we just took the single and brought the carrier. We did use the monorail and we just had to make sure we got on a handicapped one. We also took the boat to the WL one day and it fit fine. The kids were very comfy in there with their fans and the kiddopotamus shade. There were lots of single joggers and a good amount of double ones too. Mostly the three wheeled ones like the InStep and Schwinn. I did see a couple of Mountain Buggys and a few Baby Joggers with the 4 wheels. I also saw people with fixed wheeled joggers and it just looked like a pain to steer, so definately bring one with a swivel wheel.
