That's true, but there won't be any problems using the PC or Mac versions of excel or access.Originally posted by WebmasterAlex
True for a simple document but don't kid yourself, they really aren't that compatible, especially excel and access
Well, I've gone back & forth between the same version on a Mac & PC & found that as long as the disk stays formatted as PC there's no problems working with it on either end.True, that will get the data there but see above..what are you going to do with it?
LOL. I have just as much fun with PC people who can't figure out how to eject their disk..."but if I put it in the trash won't it mess my disk up?"I have..oh trust me I have.. it's a real hoot when someone says "where is the chooser" or "why does this mouse have so many buttons"![]()

True, but you also have to consider that the average person still has at least a little trouble navigating the the 2 more user friendly ones. Granted some people can't figure out how to set up their VCRs, but I think they have to consider this. Until Linux can come up with a more user friendly version (of course some would argue it's around & it's called Mac OSX) they'll remain in the tiny percentage of users. When your uptime can be measured in months....it's pretty to me!!!
