Has anyone stayed in Magic Cabins 7026/7028 or 7030? Our family has all 3 of these balcony cabins booked for our first 11/24 cruise. Getting close and we're getting excited.

I guess no one reading these boards has stayed in these cabins but have another question please....

How are the hair dryers on board Magic? I've been on cruise lines that have ample dryers, similar to what you'd use at home. I've also been on ships where the hair dryers were so whimpy, it took forever to dry hair.

I also read that after the Magic dry dock they left wall hair dryers on the wall ??? what's that about? Do they have hand held now as well as the old non-functioning wall hair dryers? WEIRD these weren't removed...

Yes, there are new hair dryers in the desk drawer on the Magic like on the new ships since drydock. I would bet they didn't remove the old wall-mounted hair dryers during drydock because they would have left a mess on the wall and they didn't have the time to patch/cover it.

What lbgraves said is true; there is a new hairdryer in the desk drawer and the old ones are still mounted. I just spent 7 nights on the Magic.

Thanks guys,

IYO are the new Magic hair dryers sufficiently powerful or the whimpy kind that take forever to dry your hair? Trying to decide if I want to take my own or not.

It is almost exactly like the one I use at home - powerful. You can only plug it in at the desk, though.

Mine was not as powerful as my one at home. It was a Babyliss brand and I had high hopes but it just never got that hot even on the high settings. I have thick hair so it still took a long time.
