I got a really great deal for this hotel for our stay in February. Is anyone able to give me a review of this hotel?

We've stayed there and liked it. There were four of us in the room and it didn't feel too crowded. The front desk people were all very friendly and you can't beat that it's right across the street! I am staying there again at the end of this month!

I have stayed there 3 times now and it has always been fine. Nothing to write home about, but clean and the location is great! The Orbitz promo codes work for them so I've always been able to save a bit of money when booking. I would stay there again, but DS7 has discovered the waterpark at Hojo so now that will be our go-to place for family trips, except next trip we will be onsite at GCH for the first time :)

We stayed in August and loved the location! The rooms were clean and they had carpet and upholstery cleaning being done during our stay, so it was good to see they were being thoroughly cleaned, presumably regularly. The room was fine, I don't have any memories of super plush bedding like at the Disneyland Hotel! But I'm sure the beds were just fine to collapse upon after a long day at the parks!

It's close to lots of chain restaurants where you can save a buck while improving upon theme park food.

Have fun!

We have stayed there now three times and will be returning in Feb. We stayed there for D23, Halloween and Christmas. Each time was great. Walking to Mim's was super fast and easy. There is going to be a Panera opening up that is really close by. The little store is great for things you forgot. The front desk is very nice, very helpful and will go out of their way to help. Parking attendants are nice and I like having someone there watching the lot. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We have four and fit easily. We like to stay on the second floor so we can open the window and have had no issues. And the all, well with a little one, you can't beat it!

We have stayed there, albeit only for one night, but there were 3 adults and one child in the room and it was just fine. I'd stay again for the right price!

Thanks everyone! Is there something going on the Wednesday/Thursday (Feb 17/18) that would make the Best Western Park Place Inn be booked up? I tried there first as that is where we usually stay. But the Tropicana ends up being $119 for those nights and the last three nights are $99!

I stayed for the first time a few weeks ago. I'm usually a Park Vue devotee, but Tropicana is a close second. In fact, it's our "solo trip" go-to now! DH will be staying there in July.

I had room 137 last month.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Plenty of pillows. Close to the pedestrian entrance. Clean (easily passed my "white sock" test). Pool and hot tub appeared clean (didn't partake in them, though). Price is hard to beat for a Harbor motel so close to the entrance ($117-127/night for military rates). Mini fridge and microwave in the room (which is totally useless for me, but I know others appreciate it). Looks like room had been updated "recently enough." Showerhead had different settings, so I could have a "rain shower" or a exfoliation with the high-pressure setting. The Cove (convenience store) on-site was nice, though I'll admit at Park Vue I'd go in pajamas and a coat to their store; heading to The Cove, I felt like I needed to be back in normal daywear because it was a bit of a walk. Arrived early, and they kept my bags for me and texted me when room was ready (arrived at 10am, room ready at 1pm, normal check-in 4pm).

Cons: Totally silly, as I know I was close, but the lower rooms in the front next to the office started off as 15x, which means I had to get through the 150s and 140s before making it to my room, and that seemed "soooo far" at the end of a 14 hour, 14 mile Disneyland Day. I need to try to find the room numbers of the rooms closer to The Cove, and request those next time. If you want to check-in early, they have a locked room for your baggage; but there's no labeling them, so I could have taken anyone's bags as my own, or vice versa. I asked them to call me a cab for the airport on my last morning, and they called me a private company who charged about $10 more than a cab would have; I'll call my own cab in the future and save some money.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it around a 6. The cons are minor, and acceptable to me for the price I'm spending.

Here's the pictures from our stay:

We have stayed there twice, in their Executive Suite (we wanted a separate bedroom, for when our daughter needed to nap or go to bed early, when we took her when she was 15 mos and then 2.5). We were happy with our stay both times. The rooms were decent (nothing luxurious, but certainly clean and comfortable). The rooms were also right at the very front of the building, so it made for quick access to the park. There was a little noise from the street, but nothing too bad (and our daughter is a very sensitive sleeper). And we had a balcony for watching the fireworks (which was nice, since we had our daughter in bed by 8 pm).

They charge you for (mandatory) valet parking, which we weren't pleased with. And there was no breakfast provided. Those were probably the two biggest cons. We'd certainly stay there again though.

WE have stayed a few times and like it for price and location. Yes there are better higher priced hotels but for Disney trips it works for us as we spend little time at the hotel.

We have stayed thee 3 times and really like it. It was clean and comfy. We would be staying there next July but we are taking my nephew and are staying at the Best Western Park Place Inn and Suites simply because there will be 6 of us. We'd have to get 2 rooms and they won't guarantee adjoining rooms :( I would stay there again without hesitation.

We stayed one night there in March. It was a good price for the location, the room was clean and updated, and the front desk was a-ok. Nothing wrong with this place at all unless you have a family of 5. It was good for us for 1 night and that's it. Too small for us. But for 4 or less, it would be great.

It was clean and safe, but most importantly - I could go from my door and be through security and scanning my park ticket for admittance in 7 minutes! (yup, I timed it one morning)!

I got a really good rate for my September trip and am excited to stay in a hotel that's closer to the parks. Usually we stay at the Best Western Pavillions and walk through the Grand, but after a long day at Disneyland that walk feels like it's never going to end! I'm glad that everyone seemed to enjoy their stays :)

Our first stay with them was this week, the 4th through today. We arrived early (around 2) and they checked us in right away. There is a sign saying parking is so much a day but when they checked my name on the list they said it was free so I suppose it depends on how/who you book through. Loved how close it was, staff was fantastic and rooms were clean. The beds were a little hard for me, my neck is killing me but I was also sick which may have contributed. I drive a Tahoe and very happy to have them park and bring me my truck so I didn't have to try and squeeze it in and out of tiny CA parking spots. While we never found the need to get the truck the valet is nice because you don't have to worry about hunting down a space if you go somewhere, they'll do it for you. Also, check out is at 11am but when I went to check out they told me I was welcome leave my vehicle parked until 2pm. Overall I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

eta: Whenever I book a room I always request the ground floor. This is the first time I didn't have to ask again when checking in. That they actually read the little note box went a long way with me right away.

As others have said, it's a solid hotel with its biggest perk being how close it is to the park. I prefer the rooms on the Cove side of the parking lot (that look like the pictures lalasmama posted.) The rooms closer to the front desk side have an interior hallway, but the room layout is slightly different. In those rooms the bathroom is near the door and the rooms just feel a little more cramped and dark to me.

Pictures were from room 137... On the lobby/office side. No interior halls. But, they do feel dark overall to me too

We stayed there in November (and have stayed there 2x previously). IMHO, it's difficult to beat the price and the location. We've always had clean, comfortable rooms and great service.

The only thing I would say is, if you need a crib in the room, it is a bit tight. It's doable, but it's tight. We did a little furniture rearranging, but we made it work :) ETA: Obviously disregard this as I just now saw the OP's signature :))

We love it for price and location. We have always found the rooms clean and the staff friendly.

The coffee in the cove was also great to grab in the mornings

Yep, my daughter and I stayed there over the Christmas holiday in 2013 for a week. Loved the location and room was just fine for us. Just finalized our summer trip for 2016 and heading back to Tropicana in July for a week. Can't wait!
