Has anyone stayed at the new Ritz?

We are going down to Orlando in May and staying at the Poly the first three nights and the Ritz Carlton last four nights b/c dh has meetings there.

Has anyone stayed there? Have you stayed there with kids? Has anyone gotten a kids suite?

We do not stay off site normally so I am really curious as to how this is going to go. We have stayed at other Ritzs before, so I know they are great.

Does anyone know how far the Ritz is from the Parks?

Well, we haven't stayed there but I got a full report last week from my 7 year old DD girlfriend who was there 2 weeks ago with her family. So, for what it's worth, she and her brother loved it. The have a kids club, Ritz Kids, where they have activities including a treasure hunt. She liked the pool and loved her room.

I have stayed there, no kids so I can't comment on the kids club.

However, IMHO it is probably the nicest hotel in Orlando. Great beds, exceptional service, just an all around good hotel. This is how deluxe hotels are suppose to be run (I live in hope that Disney will send the GF folks over to see how it is REALLY suppose to work)

Very nice pool and you can use the Lazy River pool at the JW Marriott when is right next door (They are connected by a wonderful workout center!)
