Has anyone stayed at the hotel menage before?

Got it under $70 via hotels.com a couple of weeks ago and since it was rated 3.5 out of 5 stars and had been recommended by 80% of their guests it seems like a good spot. It is next to the I-5 so noise is my only concern. Hopefully some of you can give me some information based on your experiences.

I stayed there and loved it!! and I never heard a peep. it was quiet, very clean and down right nice. the pool is beautiful, and they were extremely nice to us.

We just stayed there. Here's a link to my TR with pictures of our room. We were right by the 5 with our room (we had a pool view) and with the door shut we heard no noise at all. With the door open, it was quite loud. We had no problem though.

If you want a fridge you need to call ahead and request it. I emailed them a couple weeks before we checked in and it was in our room when we got there.

We would totally stay there again.

Hey thanks for the info! I will call ahead and also request a pool view room, perhaps you can tell me what floor you were on, since it sounds like everything is perfect there. are you going to the strawberry festival this weekend, or Dland?(remember im from the Nard too!)

I only do top floor rooms, ( quieter ) and I had a room over looking the pool. we loved that room .

We were on the third floor. Room 335.

I'm thinking about going to the Strawberry Festival, are you? I wish they would make it free entry like the Salsa Festival, then I would go for sure!!! When are you leaving for DL?

next planned trip is in 2 sundays on the 31st. THe menage i booked for june 20 so we could go to the angels/dodgers game on saturday and then stay in the area and go to d-land sunday. I also booked aug 15 for one last hurrah as our AP's expire the following week.

i have NEVER been to the festival and am not planning on doing so this year either. looks to be a quiet weekend before a san diego trip for mem day weekend next friday.

I stayed there last month. I thought it was a decent hotel. What minor problems we had were fixed quickly. The only noise we heard was the DL fireworks nightly and they are loud. I didn't mind. It's part of the Disney magic. I'm told you can see the fireworks from the pool but I didn't go out there since my kids were sleeping. I would stay again.

The last time I went to the festival was high school. I don't think I'll miss not going this weekend.

We're probably going around that time in August too. Our APs expire tomorrow () and we're not renewing them until August after most of summer has passed.

i think the next time we get AP's we will buy a 3 day hopper and go during winter or so(when its blacked out) then upgrade on the 3rd day for the $174 southern california plan we currently have. get the most bang for our bucks.

I absolutely loved Hotel Menage. I stayed there last September and am going to again with my two friends this Sept. It is definitely a more hip hotel than some of the other affordable ones in the area. The pool was fantastic! It reminded me of a resort pool. We were on the third floor and the freeway noise was pretty much unnoticable after 10 min of being there.
