:confused3As most of you know I am a bit of an onsite snob but as we are going to rent a car this time AND want to keep costs down a little AND taking DM so would mean 2 rooms at a disney hotel,I have been doing a lot of research into the above two props. BC I have had a quote for 10 nights at $1200 but the guy said it may be less and floridays is a little more. If I stay onsite it will cost more plus will have to pay for DDP as not offered in december. Cruise we have decided on the 4th dec 4 night in an ocean view with verandah as only slightly more than the inside for some bizzare reason (£1558 or 2 insides £1678).
anyway has anyone stayed at either of the above and would I be dissapointed after staying onsite? I have read nearly all the bonnet creek thread(took me 2 hours:rotfl2:) and started on floridays reviews. As we have a car I know we will have to pay for parking but was thinking of getting one annual pass.Help. We are def doing the cruise and due to me pithering has it gone up £200 already. Does anyone know if it is cheaper to book through dreams? Also booking a cat 5 or 6 I thought we would have got more than $25 on board credit:confused3

We were due to stay in Floridays in May but last minute change of plan meant we went with a villa instead. When there we drove past to see what it was like and it looked very nice. We've stayed at the Sheraton Vistana before and it was definitely close in terms of quality (from the outside anyway)

The reviews all say it's very very quiet which would be ideal for us but may be a bit desolate if you like company for kids etc.

Location was pretty good too if I recall.

I have stayed at Bonnet Creek for the past 2 Decembers and will be there again in just over 2 weeks (yay). We love it there. Found it by mistake really. Kept seeing the sign for Boonet Creek, just before Caribbean Beach and wondered for a couple of years what it was. Then looked into it a found that you could rent direct from owners. We rent from a fantastic guy called Ken Price who can be found at www.vacationupgrades.com. I really can't fault him in anyway, he is a really nice guy aswell. If you look on the Orlando Hotels forum there is a huge thread entitles something like We love Boonet Creek. There are loads of recommendations for Ken.
We always get a 2 bed deluxe which is huge. There are 4 pools there so my son thinks it great and 2 lazy rivers. This is our 7th trip in 5 years and BC definitely in our top 2 places to stay. We have also stayed at SSR twice and Fort Wilderness. This is the best value unless you get the free dining at SSR which we have for next August. Location can't be beaten.
Happy to answer any other questions.

Can only answer your cruise question, no it won't be cheaper to book with dream for the cruise, everywhere should be the same price it'll just be the onboard credit that differs.

My Mum's stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages and Floridays ......... She loved both but preferred Floridays. I've stayed at the Vistana Villages and always try to book top end accommodation, Vistana Villages is superb so I'm absolutely sure Floridays will not disappoint.

Location is fab too .......... IMHO South International Drive is very hard to beat ........ very quiet but still close enough to all the restaurants and ideal for DC, Seaworld, Disney and most importantly the Premium Outlets.

Go for it ............. bet you wont want to stay onsite again.

Thankyou all. I emailed ken price and he has quoted me $120 for the 2 bed deluxe or$180 for the presidential suite. We hv decided to stay there for our first 5 nights definatley then the 4 night cruise but still toying with DVC for last 4. If free dining was on in dec then tht would sway us to onsite for a few days but the money we would save by staying at BC compared to a two rooms at a mod/ deluxe is a lot.DB says we can still hv meals onsite and pay and as we will be doing only 5 days in the disney parks i am being more convinced. Just cant help thinking i wish i had........ When i get there BUT Looking at the pictures the standard of accom is very high and its next to CBR. Thanks for convincin me.
