Where did you stay? How was it different from your pre-baby trips to the world? We leave today with a 6 month old to stay at Wilderness Lodge. Any tips?

Take your time. Remember now the baby runs the show. Try not to break him/her out of her routine. If he/she is used to a 2:00 feeding then stop what you are doing sit down and do the feeding. You will both have a much nicer and releaxing time if you try to stick to the babies schedule. Our first time with Tyler he was 11 months. We stuck to his schedule and we had a blast. The only bummer if any was being back at the room so earyl, but the trips will get longer as time goes by.

have a great time.

I don't have any advice but wanted to wish you a happy and safe trip!! I can't wait to read your trip report as we will be visiting WDW with our infant in October.

I have stayed at CS & WL with infants, we loved both resorts.

I would definitely recommend a baby carrier, we used the Baby Bjorn. It was a life saver! She slept through almost everything, including Fantasmic, and Illuminations!

Enjoy your trip, you will love the Wilderness Lodge! I also read your post about the smell in the lobby--there is a smell from Wispering Canyon, but nothing overpowering, your baby should be fine!

I agree with the previous post. But need to add a few suggestions.
Bring your own baby supplies if money is a issue they are costly on property. With that said do use the baby center. They are nice and cool with privite nursing areas if you nurse. When we went with my sister (her son was 9 mon) we stayed off property so cann't help you with on property pros. Bring your own stroller (light wt if you have one). Clip on fan that is battery operated well help with heat issues. We also brought a sling (front pouch holder) this helped on long line waits. Don't forget to sun screen may need to repeat in afternoon (don't forget the feet they may burn when riding in a stroller). Buy a big disney hat to protect little heads, faces, ears, and shoulders for when in direct sun. Most of all enjoy the Magic and your first visit with your child. I can still remember the first time my children seen the world. It bring tears to my eyes just thinking about the wonder and awe in their faces.

Definitely bring your own stroller. You might be surprised at how often the little one sleeps in it. We took our son at 6 months and planned to go back to the room for naps, but he slept so well in the stroller that we didn't have to. The Baby Bjorn also helped for a nice change of scenery. If you're going when it's hot and you have a navy stroller, use a white towel to line it with so it doesn't get to hot.

We traveled last summer to WL with a 11 month old! They supplied us with pack N play and Disney sheet. The baby seemed to be comfortable at the hotel and during nap and night sleeps. I do recommend purchasing a mini battery operated fan that clips onto your stroller. We used one during our visit and it made the baby so much more comfy when there was no breeze!
