Has anyone seen the riveting testimony on TV, from the young kid, Justin Berry

I have seen various segments this evening on both Fox and CNN. Young kid, 19, providing testimony to a congressional committee, regarding his background in Internet child pornography, run from within his home. It is riveting, frightening, sad.

The several video links on this MSNBC site are essentially what has been on the televised news programs. It is graphic testimony. Really sad things like this occur, but is is so good to be aware, as a parent, as a person.

I believe that the New York Times ran a story on him earlier this year. Justin's story is very disturbing. It made me sick that his Dad actually helped him prostitute himself.

Just awful. I really wish they do something about this horrifying problem. It's so sick. My sisters are very smart but it just makes me sick thinking some perverted man may try and solicit them online. I hope they are never afriad to tell my parents if someone does that.

I remember once when I was 13 a man called in the morning. I answered the phone and thought it was my uncle but it ended up being a man who started asking me sexual questions. I remember being so scared all week he would track me down and kidnap me. That was bad enough but now with the internet it's even scarier.

I first saw him about one month ago on Oprah. He has been so brave through all this....his father should be in JAIL.

He chose to accept an offer from Oprah's show to FIRST tell his story and decline a million dollar book offer. The book deal said IF you go on Oprah we will not offer you the deal. He was done with DEALS and wanted to come clean and tell everything on National TV.

His mom was a single parent that thought he was just in his room doing his homework on the computer. She knew he loved computers and Jason actually started designing web sites for customers as early as 10. Mom just "assumed" that was what he was doing all this time. The mom is a psychologist that works with troubled children...she admitted she had no idea what Jason was doing and was devastated when all this started unraveling.

Dan Abrams and Nancy Grace all spoke about this on their shows this evening as well.

I had seen him on the Oprah show as well. And how he came out of it was a great story as well. The guy who helped him just happened on to Justin's site and was able to gain his trust. He met him and helped him come clean and get all his files together. Justin was really smart when it came to computers and saved "everything". All the emails, and messages that they predators sent him. Since he had everything they are able to go after them.

It was quite disturbing to see how it went from something so innocent, getting a web cam to talk to friends, to being in Mexico prostituting for his dad.

Im was glad to see him go on Oprah to get his story out instead of just taking the $$$.

A NY Times reporter was working on a story about child porn on the internet, he came across Justin's site, actually got personally involved and befriended him and tried to help him get out of his situation. Eventually he persuaded Justin to go to the authorities.

And now we have one of the top directors of Homeland Security
busted today for child internet porn!
Also, a top (the top?) NASA guy is being investigated for the same.
