Geico commercials have been getting strange for the last few months IMO. Loved the ones with the gecko in the past.

I love Little Richard and I love this commercial! I've only seen it once and I had to rewind and watch it again. (Okay, that didn't make sense, but I hope you know what I mean) Since the glorious dawn of the DVR device, this may be the only commercial I've purposely watched. And, I'm sure that's what the Geico execs wanted; something to make you go "Whaaaaat?? Let me see that again!"

I love it too but there is something off about his head. I was wondering if perhaps they filmed both LR and the woman at different times and spliced them together

I really like the ads with Little Richard and Charro, but I have to say that the one with Burt Bacherach kinda creeps me out, and that is the one that seems to be played most often in my area.

So, Little Richard has a big head, and Charro has big, um, other places, but I pay more attention to their personas and how thats used in the ads. If Burt Bacherach's persona is truly as he portrays himself in the ad, well, eewwwww

Tell me about it! Someone please dip me in that big vat of whatever golden, supernatural preservative she's being dipped in! We watched her on The Surreal Life, a couple seasons ago, and I just could not get over how great she looked! I kept telling hubby, "Charro was middle aged when I was a child! How is this possible?"

It was great on the Surreal Life, because they had one episode where her guitar playing was showcased. (The cast attended her Vegas show) She is quite the virtuoso! I had always just thought of "coochie coochie!!" whenever I saw her, but after that SL season, I really admire her! She has such a great, loving personality....and always, always full of positive, high energy.
