I just read about it in Family Fun magazine. It goes through Jan. 4, I think.

I think this might be the first year for it in Florida. I am not sure. I have heard about something like this at Opryland before. We are planning on checking it out after Sunday Brunch on our visit.

I recently read about this too. Looks beautiful. Did it start already? I want to check it out in December when we go. Anyone see it yet?

My family visited Ice two days ago. We enjoyed the display. It is very well done and interesting. It is so cold inside that you are not able to stay in very long without being miserable. We walked through..looked at it all..the kids did each ice slide once and we were ready to leave..probably in the actual ice part for 30 minutes. I felt like it was a VERY expensive 30 minute activity, but if you have plenty of money go for it!! :)

PS I would definatly take gloves and hats for everyone they are not provided.

We went and had a wonderful time. DO take hats and gloves like another poster mentioned. My older kids (7&8) would have stayed on the slides for a week if they could have. We were probably in there for close to an hour with all the kids sliding like crazy. But then they were so cold when they finished that they sort of ran through the last part. Let everyone slide on each slide, go to the end and then go back to the slides. It is awesome and my kiddos really enjoyed that as one of the best parts of our trip. BUT we live in FL so they have never seen snow and ice. For our northern friends, it might not be a novelty to you!!

Enjoy!

It is a neat exhibit but a bit pricey for 30 minutes of looking.

We did see people leave through the exit, warm up a bit and come back. We didn't d othat. It was a bit pricey, but really made more of an impression on my kids (they are still talking about it) than many of the other things we did. Plus, combined with a cheap off site meal, it wasn't that bad for the evening. :-)

Well, I am glad we decided not to do it on our trip from the comments. I thought to myself it was a lot of money to go freeze our A$$e$ off. Plus, my son came down with the flu the day before we were going to go. Does not sound like we missed out on a whole lot.

We went and it was beautiful. I was very happy we did. Tickets are cheaper there then on line. My DH loved it too. We did not find it as cold as others. You have to live in a cold state like Wisconsin to not be bothered by it. I didnt even zip my coat. But I can see where others from warmer areas may find it cold. (It was just -17 here.)
