Has anyone seen "Paranormal Activity"?

I've heard from a few people that it's the scariest movie they've ever seen. My niece told me the ticket taker and the usher at the movie theater where she saw it said people were coming out crying or even sick after seeing it.

I love horror movies, but always go into them thinking they're going to suck (it's sad, but most of them DO suck, especially over the past 10 years)... so it would be nice if this was truly scary!

So, has anyone seen it yet?

My dh hates anything to do with demons. He can handle ghosts but demonic things scare the crap outta him and he's not afraid to admit it!!

We were talking about it this morning actually. Do you know if it's demonic in nature or just a classic ghost story???

My wife would never go see it and honestly I dont know if I would either. I like horror movies but some are far too creepy. I love the old school Nightmare on Elm St and Halloween series but this one seems to be much more realistic.

I did some searching and read some spoilers and if the spoilers are true than it is a freaky movie that I honestly think would give me nightmares and i'm almost 30

It is definitely not a classic ghost story. It is about demons. That I can assure you.

There is another thread on here about this movie about how people (including myself) were very disappointed in this movie. Waaaayyyyy over-hyped!
