We need something small to pass out at school for my sons birthday tomorrow. My son loves legos. Does anyone know if there are any stores (including lego store I could make the drive out today if they have something that would work like $1.50 key chains) that have something for $1 to $2 with a lego theme? And how much are the sale key chains at the lego store? That might be a great idea.

Thanks, Jen.

What about the lego figures that are out ? Those are cool and cheaper.

thanks but I need about 20 of them so that would add up. I am going to look at ac moore and micheals and the dollar store today to see what they have. Son said anything with a halloween theme would be fine too.

In past years Walgreens has had Halloween themed sticker books (Peanuts, Disney, etc.) for 2 for $1. Not sure if they have them this year but my daughter loves to hand them out to her friends. They are 2" x 3" books with about 130 stickers in them. Sorry I couldn't help with the Lego theme.

You could hit the Lego store and fill a cup with bricks. Maybe find instructions online for a simple item (a ghost is easy) and fill the cup with enough parts for each kid to build one. You could print off the instructions and put the pieces in bags.

I was in Target last night and in the halloween section they had little bags of legos that were designed to be passed out for trick or treat. They built very small models -- not sure what, exactly, but I know they weren't halloween themed. I think I saw a policeman and a car or something. But they were cheap. $1.00 or $1.50, IIRC.

I just got one at Target in the Halloween section of a Star Wars Lego thing, unfortunately it was $3.99 maybe $4.99? I only needed one!

Thanks everyone. Found some great halloween themed things at Micheals and they let me use an AC Moore coupon for half off one item too. It ended up costing $12 for 20 goodie bags plus some left over stuff too. No lego stuff but my son will stilll be happy.
