Has anyone rented a car thru Undercover Tourist?

I am looking for a minivan or full-size SUV for my son's Air Force graduation. Mousesavers says UT has great rates nationwide. They're not kidding! The rate I got (Budget) is almost HALF of what I've found on other rental wesites and even Budget's own website. I'm afraid it's too good to be true. Does anyone have any feedback?

If you are a Costco member, check their rental site. I'm still finding them to be the best deal or at least equal to other deals. For the dates I wanted, I found UT to be much more expensive than Costco or even just going through the rental (Alamo) site. That said, it might be different for where you're looking to rent.

I checked Costco first. To get UT's rate you do have to purchase a ticket (found a $15 ticket) and click add a car in order to see the rate. UT's rate for a minivan thru Budget is $284 less than Costco's rate thru Alamo. And right now UT's (Budget) rate is half of what I get when I price it out on Budget's website.

Wow! Can you cancel the booking or is it a prepay? If you have to option to cancel later (if you find something better), then I'd book it. These rates seem to change regularly and that rate might not be available if you wait.

Based on the faq's it is prepaid and any modification or cancellation has to be made thru UT.

We've actually had the best luck with using hotwire about a month out and the option to let them pick the company for you. Its a little cheaper than Costco or using the discount that I get when I go direct to the rental companies.

I did a few years ago. I believe it was with Alamo. No problems.
