Has Anyone *Regretted* Using Fastpass on 7DMT?

Do not fear the standby lines, especially if you can get to the parks at rope drop! Its all about using your FP wisely.

We're dropper/hoppers so we will only use FPs at the second park.

We plan to do our favorites once, and the very favorite twice during morning EMH into first hour in the parks. We don't mind waiting, but won't wait more than 30 minutes for anything. This is our first time since FP+, and we don't know how that will affect standby (pretty sure it's not for the better) so we will adjust when we get there.

Thanks for your reply!

If you use FP for 7DMT you are probably going to be in and out of there within 10 minutes. The ride itself is less than 2 minutes long. Standby line, you should probably plan on at least an hour wait. There's a cute interactive queue and you won't see it if you use FP...but you have to put in the time to see it. It's just a question of how much time do you want to spend waiting.

Yeah, if you have a chance, grab it, and then change it day of if you don't want to do it. That's what we did.

Someone on Nov 23 got really lucky and scored same day A&E and SDMT FPs ;)

We visited in Sept during a slower period. Had FP+ for 7DMT on 2 different days.............regret using FP+ for it.........NOPE! Not at all.

We scheduled the ride for once in the morning.......and the second in the afternoon after BOG Lunch and before FOF Parade (which we had FP+ for too........another FP I would highly recommend). We were aware that the ride was short and that played a role in choosing FP. Understanding we would have waited if I was unable to get the FP+ for at least 1 day.:thumbsup2 Now saying that.....It wouldn't have been as enjoyable, IMHO, if we had waited 45min to 1hr (yeah during a slow time that was the wait). We waited no longer than 10 minutes using the FP which was fine........yeah we miss the stuff in the queue but we're older and didn't have children in tow.....:confused3

In the end its a nice "little" coaster.........about 90seconds to short......but the ambiance of the ride makes up for that........for us.:) Will we ever wait in line.........I'm sure it will happen someday but to be truthful we'll probably always try for a FP.

Doug :goofy:

The only part that I kinda regret was not being able to see the queue. I've heard it's awesome, and from what I've seen online, it really is.

I didn't get one when I was there in July. I waited 90 minutes in line and glad I did so I know what it's like but I can tell you I won't wait more than 20 minutes for it again. Nor will I spend and FP+ on it.
