Has anyone recently used expired Dream FP's?

We won some Dream FP's in June, 2007 and did not use all of the tabs. I still have the lanyards and the tabs are attached to the orginial cards.

I know that the policy for Dream FP's has changed and expired ones are supposed to be accepted. I see lots of them on Ebay with that explanation.

I am going to DLR next week and will take mine to try, but I wanted to find out if anyone had any first hand experiences.

I've never won them, but I thought they were only good the day you won them. If that is wrong someone will speak up.......

I was able to use expired Dream FP's on our trip June 9-11. The FP's were from November of last year, and not one CM batted an eye when I used them.

We have a couple pairs of expired ones, some from as early as OCT. '06!!

We would love to be able to use them this summer and save some time!

we just used our unused Dream FP's last month at DL.
We won three in November and 7 in September, the CM's didn't even look at the date.

I asked a CM at the TOT FP entrance if it was ok to use the expired Dream FP.
He said most CM's don't even look at the date, he said the worst thing that could happen would be a CM says "no". He encouraged me to use them.

We used them on GRR, Indy, Splash,Autopia, Space Mountain, TOT and Screamin' with no problems.
It seems fair to me. You won the Dream FP at some point, you should be able to use it.
When we were there in September it was pretty slow on the Thursday that we won so most rides didn't even have the FP side open.

Mommy2, are you thinking of regular fastpasses? Because this is about Dream FPs, the blue plastic tags on lanyards with breakaway tabs for each ride in the park. They have been available only during the YOMD during '07-08, given away by the Dream Team at random times and places in the parks.

Regular FPs, they definitely check the date.

How lucky! We just got back from WDW and I did see numerous people wearing those passes around their necks, now it makes sense, they are honored by the CMs!

Its a Dream FP, I think we may have been amoung the first to get them. When we got them we had not heard anything about the YOMD or anything and even some CM's seems shocked when we showed up with them!

We also have some from our Christmas trip last year (07).

Officially they are only good on the day of issue. But in practice they will allow you to use them.

Just like regular FP are only good during the 1 hours window but you are allowed to used them all day.

I've read several times the dream FPs are good until the end of the YOAMD. Our last trip there was a group of kids in front of us who had dream FP and used them at Indy, and they only had the tabs, not the actual lanyard (well, it could have been in their pockets/bags, but they weren't visable on their necks) and the CM just took the tabs without asking for the lanyard or looking at the dates on them.

When we won ours, I was going to ask the Dream Team, but I totally forgot. We didn't use ours and am planning to use them next trip.

Hmmm...won some at Epcot last September, but it was during their slow season, so we never used them. Wonder if I can get away with using the Soarin' one at DCA?

They may check the date, but they sure dont enforce. We were there in April of 07, got some FPs for Buzz, and when we went back to use them, the line was so short it wasnt needed. The CM told me save them for another day. I told him we were leaving that following morning, and he said, "bring back when you come back", I did just that, in October of 07, and used them with no problem.

Seriously? That's cool. I think I've heard of that, but I've heard conflicting info on whether people have been able to use them. I'm guessing if that's the case, that they are looking at the return time, still? So if you come back the next day with a FP from yesterday, and return time says 11:40 a.m., you'd best try them after 11:40, huh?

Thats great to know as we won three in on Valentines day and it's wasn't busy at all to use them. Were going at the end of August so I'll have to bring them with us!

We've used them before also, no problems. BUT, one time (Feb.'08) we were going onto splash with some we had won in Jan. and the CM wouldn't let us . We were just like, ok, no problem and went back the next day, different CM and he let us on no questions. So, while it is an unofficial policy, either not all CM's know about it or some just like to stick to the rules

It will be really cool if we can use expired ones. We won Dream FP's on my b-day in June but did not go to DCA so all those are still in tact. I would love to be able to use them when we return in October for 4 days!!
