We have an extra night after our 3 day Wonder Cruise. Saw some pretty cheap rates for the Grosvenor 79.00 a night . Thought we could hang out at Downtown Disney and stay nearby. How is this place? We need to check out at around 9 to catch our flight. Also thinking about Cypress Grand Villa's and All Star movies for the kids. Any suggestions? Thanks, Lisa

We stayed there less than a year ago and it was fine. Nothing spectacular, but no problems, rooms were clean and all. It was too cold to swim, but the pools were fine too. I liked it and would stay again. However we won it on priceline for only $40 a night. I would say that All Stars is a better value and would also be more fun for the kids. :earsgirl:

They'd have to pay me to stay there again. We didn't get a tower room, which I believe are better. Our room smelt damp and was in need of refurbishment. I asked for a move but was told that they were full. Luckily it was a short stay. Never again.

We loved our stay there in January 2004. Had a tower room with a view of the fireworks. Being the closest hotel to DTD made it great! Rooms are large, refrigerators, clean, good friendly service. They do have character meals there, but I don't remember what days, however we didn't many kids staying at the hotel at all.
