I was thinking about doing this and I was wondering what other people though...what they paid...was it cheaper later in the afternoon if they had the jet skiis sittin on the beach? Anything else I should know??

Joanne,

I was on a site tonight the price was $50.00 for 1/2 hour. I will look up the sight and e-mail tomorrow. I sent the link to my office e-mail. We are going to take the water taxi over to the beach for the day.

I'm doing the Disney Happy Dance

Thanks Crazy Momma!

Last time I was there I noticed that the guys renting them were bargaining with the tourists....giving it to the for cheaper, or throwing in a beach chair for the day etc. Not sure if it would be wise to take Bobby on them anyway....

What are you doing on the Boards. I thought your office blocked them?

I don't think I will let Matthew ride the jet ski. He's not a strong enough swimmer. Do they have any little boats like the water mice at WDW? I'm glad to hear they have beach chairs that we can rent. My old bone couldn't take sitting on the ground all day. I think I'm going to take a blow up float for Matthew and maybe a small bucket.

I can't belive I leave for my vaction in 12 short days.

I was on the 11/1 Magic cruise. My husband and I rented a jet ski at Great Bay Beach. The price was $35 for half an hour (for both of us). Others in our party came to shore and switched passengers during the half hour and the price was the same. We also rented chairs and some people got food at the same beach. It was in front of a place called Everything Cool.

Hope that helps.

We rented 2 in August for $80 for 1/2 hour, 1 with DH and GS 9 and 1 for me and GD 8. It was great, brand new wave runners and no restrictions as to how far you could go out. We were out passed the inlet beyond the ship. I was quoted $75 but since I was using a credit card they charged me $5 more, wasn't about to go back to the ship for cash, didn't care it was vacation.

Thanks Lisa & Markie,

What about rafts or sand buckets for kids, can you rent them on the beach? DH told me I pack too much so, there's no room for beach toys.

We were just there in Oct. and paid $40 for 1/2 hour for the wave runner and $10 for 2 lounges with an umbrella, they also rent for $10 sand toys for the kids. (You could probably play with them too, if you're nice:p ) And waiters from the restaurants come onto the beach and take your orders! Kinda like having a cabana boy! Have fun!
p.s. we were told we could only take two people out at a time, we have a 7 dd and couldn't leave her obviously, and she wouldn't go unless we all could go together, when we brought it to his attention that the guy down the beach was letting 3 go he relented and a fun time was had by all.
