I'm heading to the dollar store this weekend....looking for a blanket and whatever else may catch my fancy......gloves, scarf etc. Will be picking up some sample of assorted 'energy boosters'...haven't started experiementing with them yet and time is running out Am going to start getting up 'way early' on my distance days too, so that 3AM won't be such a shock to the system.....perhaps I'll get a little housework done between breakfast and the start of my walk!

Jackie- did you see Tw1nsmom's post about making scarves for everyone? She'll do it for you for free- and they can just be tossed to the side of the road when you don't want it any longer.
Also- Target has a $1.00 spot at the front of the store with the cutest little $1.00 gloves- try looking there too!

I just got my official packet yesterday (Team in Training group registers in late October--so mine finally got through!!).

I am running the full--my number is 7575...I put down 5:00 as my ETC...but a friend of mine who did that as well and registered through the regular registration process has a number in the 4000s--so I guess I got bumped a few corrals or something! I'll find out at packet pick up when I get my corral number/letter assignment with my #.
