I keep seeing his logo on products I buy so I checked out his website and it didn't give to much info about the actual plan.

Has anyone done this? What is it like? I was thinking of doing WW online but I have done WW before I wondering if this would not feel like the same ol' thing.

Thanks

I have not tried it. If I recall when he was helping Oprah, I think it is basically healthy choices, less carbs, better balance. Whatever plan you choose, keep trying to make it. Don't give up! You can do this.

I have not actually tried it, but a couple of weeks ago I sat in the bookstore and gave the book a pretty good once over. I was not particularly impressed. Most of it seems to be the common sense advice that you get from any diet plan. He had a few recipes in the back and a basic plan to follow.

I have been kind of doing my own plan for awhile and was debating doing something w/ a Lot of structure because I have been lazy lately. I did not find anything in the book that really sparked my interest, but it may be worth looking at. If I were you I would find a quiet spot at your local chain bookstore and browse through the book. They don't mind (I used to work in one:thumbsup2 ) and it will give you an idea of whether or not it is something you would want to do.

Good Luck w/ whatever you decide on!! :cheer2:

I was hugely disappointed at how much he charges for his website! I also sat in hte bookstore with a notebook and read his book, and was not impressed... but then I did buy the other book and journal, and I've not gone anywhere (weight loss wise) so I'm not the best person to ask advice...

there was a Dr Oz or someone on PBS his website was fantastic and free!!

Good Luck, I dont think I saved the link, Ill look for it and post it if/when I find it!

I read the book. It is a sensible plan. There is no magic to it.

The one thing I don't like (on any plan) is that he does ask that you restrict/give up certain foods. I can not follow any plan that says do not eat X. I just don't believe in eliminating foods completely from your diet.

Monday June 18, Bob Green will be on Oprah to discuss the book. I better go set up the DVR.
