Has anyone ordered Wolferman's english muffins?

I just got a catalog from them and was thinking of sending them to my aunt as a gift. They look awfully yummy. Has anyone tried these? Are they better than regular english muffins?

They are good, but not amazingly wonderfully good. IOW -- I don't think they are worth the money. We sent them one year for Xmas to the ILs and not one of them said, "Wow, hope you send those to me again!"

Overpriced and hard to toast...they stay mushy in the middle and I like mine crispy.

I've sent a number of baskets for gifts, and bought some for ourselves -- buy them on-sale, and then freeze them. It's a great, different, gift.

The muffins are MUCH larger than regular ones, and very impressive -- everyone I've bought them for likes them. Overall, though, IMO, they're a bit dryer than regular muffins. I'm a die-hard Thomas' fan, and Wolferman's didn't seem to have the "nooks and crannies" that I like in my English muffins.

My mom's gotten the coffee cakes and sweet rolls, and really likes them.

I'm so glad you posted this! We received a gift basket at work and I loved the breads but didn't notice where they were from. Now after looking at this website, I know where to get them!

For me, I didn't care for the English muffins because they were too thick and it was hard to get them to toast properly. Way too much bread. But the English muffin bread can be sliced to any thickness and it made incredible toast! I might treat myself to some....

Ohh, what to do? This is an elderly aunt of mine who pretty much has everything and I just like to send her a "little something" so she knows we're thinking of her. I might just go ahead and send them.
