I guess I'm just not a picky eater because we have eaten at many places and never had an issue with teh food. :goodvibes

Maybe it's because I'm just starving by the time we eat I'm just glad to have some food. LOL

I hear so many people talk about awful food and at places I thoroughly enjoyed!

Anyone else?

 me too, me too!

We were there in May 2008, on the regular DDP, and we liked every single place we ate, some better than others, but the food was at least "good" every where we ate. And we really loved some of the restaurants (like Le Cellier!)

Didn't have bad service, didn't find any place filthy, didn't have to wait too long (in fact, we usually checked in a few minutes early & were seated right at ADR time or slightly before.)

:woohoo: go Disney...we'll be back on FD in September!:woohoo:

We had just one bad experience at Crystal Palace on our trip in 2004. DH cut into his salmon and it was raw :scared1:. Other than that, we have never had any problem with food anywhere in Disney. We stay onsite every year and never venture off property to eat :goodvibes.

Nothing truly awful... and we're picky. Mostly very good, in fact!

But Disneyland food... Stick to the frozen chocolate-covered bananas!

We have been to MANY different restaurants (check the amount of food we have already had on our site, LOL) and only once had a "not so good" experience. That was the waitstaff at Alfredo's. They were VERY arrogant and not very helpful. Didn't get any extra tip (were on the DDP last year when the tip was still included and tipped extra at EVERY restaurant, just not Alfredo!).
Other than that the food was spot on and the service A+!!! :goodvibes

DH and I love the Disney food...that is why we upgraded to Deluxe dining. Any less than stellar dining experiences were still magical! pixiedust:

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Not me! My DH got a taco salad at Pecos Bill's that was gross, but other than that....4 trips and it's all good! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Have loved the food since we started going in 1976 and it just keeps getting better! Not just for park food, but very good for any food!

We have done almost all the table and counter service locations in the parks, but only a handful of resort restaurants. We have done all the dinner shows as well.

I can honestly say food has never been an issue. We are not adventurous in ordering though. We kind of just go with what we know. Our servers have all been polite and attentive and able to answer any of our questions. We don't make many special requests, though.

Having said that, I will say the restrooms in several locales could have used more frequent attention, and last but not least, I try to avoid subjecting my family to overrun CS locations during peak times ( Free Dining for instance ).
That can be a mood-wrecker!

If I just speak for myself, I can say I've never had any problems. I've had a couple meals that were just so-so, but the rest have been very good.

But I will say I've been disappointed in the selections for kid's meals. There have been a couple meals for DD that truly didn't look appetizing, and plenty of meals where I was struggling to find something she would eat on the limited kid's menu.

I agree.

Me too:banana: We always enjoy the food there and look forward to it on each trip. Now, we have gone with other people before who are much more critical and almost waiting to be disappointed and guess what.....they were:rotfl2: Not surprising. We love it:lovestruc

Approximately 100 meals at WDW since 12/04 ... the percentage of meals that have been not good is very, very low.

I agree that I have been more disappointed in the kids' meals than the adult fare.

We don't have any problem with Disney food. In fact, I am looking very much forward to dining there in December!

We love the food at DisneyWorld. Some people go for the attractions and shows, we go for the food. ;)

The only negative experience I've ever had was at the Garden Grill at Epcot's The Land pavilion. It was more a problem with our server than with the food. He kept forgetting things - butter and honey for the biscuits, the sauce for the meat that was supposed to be rare, but was delivered well done and tarter sauce for the fish wasn't delivered until the fish was stone cold. He forgot about bringing dessert completely and just gave us our bill!

Needless to say, we were not pleased. Our lunch took close to 2 hours and the people on either side of us, who he was also serving, left because they were so angry.

Other than that, we've had great experiences with both the quality of food and the quality of servers.

We LOVED :lovestruc everything we ate (CS, TS, and Snack) with the exception of the Garden Grill (the food, never would go again) and a little disappointment with LTT. Boma, CP, and 50's PT were our favorite Disney TS meals, and Toy Story PP, Cosmic Rays, SSR eatery, and Casey's were our favorite CS meals. The funny thing about Casey's is normally I don't touch hotdogs :rotfl: but ate at Casey's twice! We even loved Planet Hollywood at DT Disney, and it often gets a bad rap! :) We are so looking forward to this year's trip... we are trying new TS places like La Cellier, Coral Reef, Cape May Clam Bake, SSR Turf Club, CRT (breakfast), Ohana, and more new ones, as well as our "old" favorites like Boma, 50's PT, and Crystal Palace! :goodvibes

We've never had a problem with the food. We didn't care for the dinner at 1900 Park Fare while other people love it, but there was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't for us.

We've never had a truly horrible meal at WDW. There are a few restaurants that we didn't like enough to return. But, luckily, they have been the exception. One of the things I look forward to is all the good meals we'll have at WDW. And with free DDP, how can you lose? :rotfl2:

DH and I are not picky eaters. We loved everything and every place we ate ... in fact too much ... is that TONGA TOAST stuck to my HIPS??????????? or is that a Le Cellier mushroom filet stuck to my back end????? :faint:

... ok, back to reality. One place was spotty on service (won't mention it because I would still go back again - wasn't that bad -- just a little inattentive) but we didn't have a bad meal anywhere!

I am always amazed by some of the bad reports but I think we remember the bad/weird things that happen to us more than the good stuff. So keep thinking positive OP -- I liked your observations! :thumbsup2

We LOVE Disney food! :lovestruc
I am not sure if we have low standards or maybe things taste better because we are at the most magical place ever?:confused3
We have certainly had meals that we wouldn't book again asap...but really only because there are so many options we like to mix our absolute favorites with some new experiences...
(Wait! There is one place we will never ever return..the Maya Grill @ CSR... )
Other than that we have enjoyed every one of our Disney meals. :thumbsup2 And are very much looking forward to out Sept 08 trip with the deluxe dining!
