Has anyone named their DD's and DS's after Disney characters????

Our 41 yr. old daughter's name is Bambi. This is the name she goes by and it is her first name on her birth certificate.

I used to know a beautiful little girl who was named Fantasia. I asked her mother how she came up with the name, and she said she heard another woman calling her daughter Fantasia and thought it was the most beautiful name she had ever heard. They called her Tasia for short.

The other night I told my DH and DS if I had another baby and if it was a girl, we could name her Samantha... Samantha Brown (from the travel channel). Not disney...but bad enough.

A good friend of mine just named her newborn Daughter ARIEL!!! She is so Sweet..Her Mother is a Disney Nut..She said that all her children will have Disney names.

I come from a house of 4 girls only.. We can be TOUGH! I myself had 3 Daughters in a row and my 3 Sister's all had Daughters 9 in all. Our last was a Son, and the only Boy out of 12 girls in the entire Family. Boy he could swap stories with you forever. He's 24 years old now and his girlfriends always would say how wonderful he is. We always told them that he was made to respect girls or else his 3 older sister's and 9 girl cousins would take care of him...(OUCH) ..

Not a disney given name, but just kind of quirky!

My sister was given the name Pixie when she was born (you should hear my name!). 27 years later she married her dh, whose last name was Power.

WA LAH--- PIXIE POWER!!!

How cool is that. Imagine the cool tinkerbell stuff she picked up with her name on it last year at disney.

Hi All We have a dog named "Disney" !! We were undecided one son wanted Pluto the other wanted Mickey Mouse the name Simba also came up. So I had them all come to a conclusion and suggested the name Disney!! It was a go!! We love him more than Walt Disney World itself and that says alot!!! xoxoxoxoto our own Disney!!

We didn't name our Daughter after a Disney character, but she IS named after a Character in a book!

I am a HUGE Gone with the Wind Fan, and Scarlet's full name is Katie Scarlet O'hara Hamilton Kennedy Butler. I decided that when I got married and had a baby, if I had a girl, that I would name her Katie Hamilton as my own little tribute to Scarlet (and inside joke) Then I met my husband, we married, and can you believe that I became a Butler? *laugh* I admit that I did have second thoughts then, but we did finally go with it.

So far only one person outside of my family has actually gotten the reference, so hopefully it is obscure enough that she won't be teased.

We just had a baby in November and We named her Isabelle but call her Belle after the beauty and the beast character. My family are big big big disney fans. My oldest daughters middle name is Marie and not too long ago I told her she was named after the cat in the Arisocats movie. (not true but she loves the movie)
