Has anyone in the west coast gotten a pin?

Just curious as most of us on the west coast tend to frequent disneyland rather than disneyworld. I'm wondering if pin codes are sent to people of the east coast more than people on the west coast.

We live on the West Coast. Calif to be exact. We got the 40% off PIN that was sent out and were able to use it for a portion of our trip in December. I did get mine right after I signed up for the planning DVD. Actually, I have gotten them in the past but since we weren't planning any WDW trips, more or less ignored them (didn't realize just how valuable those things are!). We do frequent Disneyland and had Season Passes last year. This is only our 2nd trip to WDW. I was such a newbie then that I actually went during free dining in Sept and didn't have free dining. Can you believe that? I found out about it just after the offer expired. I was pretty mad that our AAA travel agent didn't notify us about it and ask if we wanted to change our package.

How were you notified you had a pin? Did you get an email, postcard or just randomly called in. We were DL AP holders for 3 years and have previously requested wdw travel dvd. I hate how some peopel get the pin and other don't. I just wish I knew how they chose.

We've just gotten postcards never e-mail. The latest that seems to have gone out was some new free dining dates but so far I have not recevied that one.

Ironically, we've never gotten anything for Disneyland. Someone mentioned that they only have gotten disneyland. We've gotten good deals with our annual pass but never a PIN.

I recieved one back in February/March I think. I couldn't use it because it was for 2008, and our trip is for 2009. I got it in an email from Disney approx a month after I had looked up stuff online about pricing.

I'm in WA and have never received a pin code for DLR or WDW. Wish I would....

We live in CA and received 2 pins in May for use this summer. We didn't use them since we weren't planning to go until 2009. Both offers were sent to us by email.

Our friends who live nearby received one about a month ago. It was a postcard and is good from October (I think) through early December. They were thinking about using it around Thanksgiving. My DM received this one as well, but has no desire to travel to WDW anymore. She didn't call WDW or sign up for any brochures or a DVD. Both of these (they were the same offer) came by postcard through the mail.

We have been to WDW a few times & so have our friends. We are not regular or frequent visitors and neither are our friends. We go to Disneyland much more often than WDW. I dont understand the reasoning or timing of the PINS. I think there is a very random element at work here...

Boy, I'd love to get one for either coast! Have gone (to WDW) for years, signed up for vacation DVDs and never gotten a thing!! Boo hoo...

Been to WDW so many times, have a DVD each year, own a DVC, AP's and live out west.

NO PINS Ever!

This offer came via email today:

4-Night/5-Day package

including Theme Park tickets
and FREE DINING, just
$63*
a day, per person based on a family of 4 .

11/9/08-11/22/08 and 12/14/08-12/20/08 in a standard room.

It also mentioned that I could upgrade the resort as well. I signed up for everything, so I am not sure what got it to me. We just returned from a free dining trip in August this year. I am thinking about going back already, but it will take a lot of Pixie Dust in the 'ol bank account! :wizard:

My mom and my sister both recently received pin postcards to my address, and we all live in Portland.

Im also in California & have received a few different pin offers, always via email.

We got a 40% off, a 30% off, and now the free dining email. I do sign up to get the planning DVD every year, and play all the disney sweepstakes type things on the disney site. Not sure what else I do to trigger the pin codes.
