Has anyone here ever rented points?

We're trying to cut costs and still be able to take another trip to the world. I was wondering if any Canadians here have ever rented points and if so how was your experience? Did it go smoothly or would you say, "I'll never do that again."

We rented points from a fellow Canadian and it went very smoothly. No problems at all.

We rent out our extra points every other year or so when we have them. It is very easy and soo much more affordable for the person renting them than paying even discounted rates at any of the DVC properties.

Rented twice with no problem and then purchased points

We have rented DVC twice with no problems.

We have also rented a Hilton timeshare through Redweek with no problems.
