Has anyone heard of an MD or private company that will write you a note for travel?

Our friends all had covid a month ago and have PCR results. They want to travel in March. Their MD refuses to write them a note. Are there private company’s doing this right now?

Look into travel medical clinics maybe. The ones people go to for travel related vaccinations etc.

Also. I don’t think you need a letter to return to Canada. Just the positive test. I think it’s the US that asks for a letter.

I do not think you need a doctor's note. You just need your official positive result. Good for 90 days to travel to US and good for 180 days to come back. A few friends have done it.

US is the one asks for it. Canada does not.

We called around and found a walk in clinic where the doctor was writing notes. We just went this morning and got ours for $20 each. I'd recommend calling around and asking.

If they've had covid a month ago, will they still be within 90 days of the positive test result in march? (math is hard right now)

Got doctor's notes from Rocket Doctor.ca and also from VirtualDr.Ca, for $20 each and tried them each on different trips since December. You need these to enter the United States, and customs agents don't check it - it's the airline check-in staff.

That said, every time I've managed to check in online or at a kiosk and gotten my boarding pass, I have never had to show any tests or doctor's notes to anyone. (This is a bit annoying considering the trouble/cost we went through to get them)

I actually asked at the gate before boarding when we flew down to the US, and they told me that since you signed an attestation form saying you had the documents, they didn’t need to verify it. On the way back to Canada I was passed out at the gate from exhaustion and have no idea if my husband had to show anything while we waited.
