Yes, Barb. Try reaching Shirley on her cell. I tried calling her home number but didn't get an answer, but Shirley did answer her cell phone.

Shirley also told me that her daughter's home in Melbourne was completely destroyed.

Thanks Andy for letting us know how Shirley and Norm are. I will continue to keep them and their family in my prayers, I just wish I could do more to help them and the others in FL.

God Bless them! After all they've been through, and with the cleanup ahead of them, they're still thinking of others. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

they can recharge the cell phone with a car charger. i do it all the time.

I called the cell and left her a message. We have a rental car, since we're here for the week, so if I don't get in touch with her we'll drive by on either Thurs. or Sun. if we're able (A1A looked HORRIBLE when they showed it on the news).

Thanks for updating us Andy. I'm glad they're both okay--scary that Shirley got hit with flying debris!! Sorry to hear about their daughter's home. Hopefully everyone can stay safe and recover. It doesn't surprise me that Shirley and Norm are out helping others--just another example of their compassion and helpfulness towards others! Continued thoughts and prayers to them and all effected.
