I hate mushrooms but one of the best dishes I've ever had was a mushroom pasta at V&A. It was more than 15 years ago and I still remember how good it was. I've just basically given myself totally over to the chefs there. As long as I'm not allergic to it, I'll try it. Even if there are ingredients I don't really like, in the hands of a talented chef, it can be amazingly good. We did the 10 course tasting menu twice now (or is it three times?) without options and while there were some courses I liked better than others, it was all really good. Can't wait for our reservation in December!
