I notice that you can order water from Staples and Costco and was thinking of doing this.

I did this on my recent June stay at BWV. I ordered a case of water through Costco. I'm not a member of Costco and the cost was about $7.50. I ordered it five business days before I was going to arrive and it showed up the day before. The front desk mentioned it to me when I checked in - and a gentleman arrived with my water within 15 minutes of me getting into the room. It was very, very painless and I definitely plan on doing it for my early December trip. :thumbsup2

Can you get poland spring from costco? i can't seem to find it when i'm in Florida

The water Costco sends you will be the water from the geographical region where you are having it delivered. For Orlando, it appears to be Zephyrhills. :goodvibes

I'm a Costco member, did you order online?

yes, its a beautiful thing:thumbsup2 . I wished I had ordered two, they went fast!

With fuel costs today, I can't imagine they can continue to deliver one case of water and turn a profit. :confused3

Dennis-

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering if they sold water by the case and much at the resort. Thanks to you guys I don't have to worry about that.

We have bottled water delivered with our other groceries from gardengrocer.com. We got the crystal something brand of spring water (cheapest spring) and it was great - we did only order one and will definately order a second one for our Oct trip - or maybe some gallons to fill up our bottles - I drink water all day anyway and when walking and such it goes that much faster!!!

I know you already received an answer to the question you asked me, but I am not a Costco member which is why it was slightly more for me [$7.50]. I ordered online with no problems.

thanks for the tip. will they deliver other items as well?

You would be better off going with gardengrocer if you also want food delivered. Costco is very limited on their food items - mostly gourmet.

We have used Costco several times, (as a matter of fact I believe I have the honor of being the one that discovered this and first posted it on the board a couple of years ago!) they do have some snack items you can order like cheese-peanut butter crackers, granola bars, flavored coffee creamer, etc. Not a whole lot to choose from, but all of it is cheaper than buying it as individual items from Disney.

I also wonder how much longer they will keep doing the water shipments as I can't see how they're making any profit at all. In the beginning I thought they might have a distribution center close by and could deliver it locally -- but it came via UPS, so I can only assume they've got some kind of bulk shipping rates that make it possible. So in other words, take advantage of this service while you can!!!
