We are a small party, 6 of us including bride and groom and we've booked an escape wedding. We're having the ceremony at SBP, and have booked a private reception at Sago Cay. We've actually been able to book both a reception and a dessert party to extend the amount of time we can stay at SCP and only have to meet a $1000 food and beverage minimum which is fine by us as we always wanted to splurge on food.
The only issue we've come up against so far is they wouldn't let us book a buffet for fewer than 8 people and Sago Cay is a buffet only location. On this occasion though they are letting us go with a plated menu instead.
We're pretty sure the wedding won't cost more than the $7500 minimum. All in all for 21 nights accommodation, an extra 3 nights at a monorail resort, 21 day tickets, deluxe dining plan, hire car, DFTW costs, outside photography, hair and makeup, outfits, rings, basically the whole kit and caboodle we're looking at £15,000.
