Has anyone had a "claim to fame" at WDW?

We were the Grand Marshals for the Share A Dream Come True Parade. It was awesome! A cast member named Robin chose us. If you and your family would like to know how to become Grand Marshals, here are some tips-
-Be very nice to the cast members
-Don't look like you are in a rush
-If a cast member stops you, don't be rude, talk to them.
Does anybody know what you have to do to open up the park in the morning?

Same thing pretty much...be at the turnstiles before park opening, be chatty and friendly. If you see a pretty black lady with a clip board be extra nice because she does the choosing most of the time....

We've opened the parks 3 or 4 times...over the past 5 trips...
