Has Anyone Gotten BCV Points Through Disney Lately?

I have been on the waitlist for awhile (since they re-instituted the waitlist, but had my guide checking for about 6 months prior to that also) for BCV points. Just looking for 30 - 50 to round me off.

Anyway, has anyone gotten any lately?

When I talked to my guide a couple weeks ago about adding on, she sounded nervous at first that I might want BCV points (I didn't)---she said the had NONE.

In the past it often took a year or more to get points off the waiting list, so its probably not unlikely that it might still take that long at a small resort like BCV, but they do appear to be exercising ROFR on a limited basis given some recent reports.

Hmmm, sounds like we have the same guide! She called me a couple weeks ago with BWV points, but I have PLENTY of them. She has not been very positive about getting any BCV.

Oh well.....I will just keep waiting

We have 50 points at BCV that we want to sell, unfortunatly, we keep using them! My DH wants to add another 50 to make it easier for booking there. If everyone is on such a long wait list, it doesn't look like we'll be adding on unless some come up like they did at the BWV last year.

Too bad that DVC can't just go ahead and buy that 500 point BCV on sale at TSS!! That would make a lot of folks happy! We own 160 at BCV and just bought 250 at VWL . DH would love to make them even, wonder if we should go ahead and get on the DVC wait list??? Good luck to all of you waiting, and deciding. Can't wait to book my first VWL trip home....Lacee

Mine is Julie Hughes.

I saw those BCV for sale (thanks Kansas!) but I would like the same use year I already have (december).

I also already have BWV points in december and june use years, so I don't want to throw another use year into the mix.

I got 150 Dec. BCV points this past summer (and 45 in April Feb. use year.... I have both Dec. and Feb use years) from Byron I called him this past week while I was at WDW letting him know that I needed more VWL points = called me back 10 min. later with 100 VWL Dec. use year

Funny, my UY happens to be August, and I found those add'l points very tempting. DH would kill me though, (it's bad enough that we did an add-on about a week after final closing on our first contract---we haven't even stayed at DVC yet!!!). But still, I wonder, how often do small contracts of BCV come up liike that. Woe is me.

Hello, Fellow Cape Codder!! Congrats on your new points!! I have thought about waitlisting for my June use year also, but then I would have a few in June and 150 in Dec.

Ah, to be patient....

Like I said, I have a ton of BWV points already - these BCV points are just to round me out. And then I promise I am done adding on

I called my guide about 2 months ago about waitlisting for BCV. He said that there is no such thing as a waitilist.....but would I like some SSR points?

Sounds a little sneaky/salesy to me...
