Has anyone gotten a good rate on car rental for April???

We're flying in to Tampa because the fares are much lower, but the car rates are over 300 for a compact! Any advice? TIA

I got an OK rate...in Orlando for April 27 through May7...Kiss2 code...base rate on an intermediate $177.96 total charges for all 10 days with fees is 235.22...Dollar rental car

Hopefully National will come up with better rates in the future.

I booked mine a long time ago, but the cheapest rate for April by far (then) was with a BJ's coupon for Alamo from their store. You can pick them up right inside their front doors.

I also made a Dollar reservation a long time ago for April 22-April 29th. I think it came out to $134.00.

I also used the KISS2 code with dollar, and got the same rate as the above poster. I'm heading to BJ's today to check out what they have to offer...I'll post if I get anything good.
by the way, we're flying into Tampa as well, April 13th.
