Has anyone gone to Typhoon Lagoon for EMH?

TL has EMH on Saturday night when we are there in August. How do they limit the park to resort guests? Might they have a band? Tell me about it!

I'm going to bump this because I didn't know that the water parks had EMH. I would imagine they would use wristbands like the parks do for EMH. Hopefully someone can give us more info.

Bumping again. When we went to the am EMH, they doublechecked that we were staying at a WDW resort, but we didn't stay for pm EMH, so I'd like to hear how it works, too. :)

We did EMH at TL on Easter Sunday morning. TL opened at 8 am for resort guests and 9 am for the general public.

We got to ride Crushin' Gusher twice with no wait at all.

I've never heard of TL/BB staying open late for EMH....only opening 1 hour earlier in the a.m.....I would be surprised about this.

Both BB and TL have early EMH...opening an hour early and TL also has late EMH staying open 3 hours later.

OK, after googling, all I could find was info from 2005. Well, I got current info on TL's pm EMH's and they do exist, though there aren't many of them. lol. Anyway, the 2005 info said that there were wristbands involved, so I guess there will be distribution spots where you'd show your resort ID to get one......

We did EMH at TL and BB over Easter - both open 1 hour earlier in morning. Resort guests are given a wristband to wear after you show your room card while non-resort guests were lining up for official opening time. Great to do some rides without queues.

Sorry that I wasn't clear in my original reply.

Yes, TL had both Morning and Evening EMH during the week before and the week after Easter. I believe morning EMH was everyday at TL for the month of April. Evening EMH at TL was much more limited (maybe only on weekends in April? - I just tossed the schedule yesterday after unpacking).

Yes, they give you a wrist band to wear after you show your resort ID at the park entrance.

:wizard: Hi there! We did the Evening Extra magic Hours at Typhoon Lagoon last September. We were given a bracelet just like any of the main parks. It was great! There wasn't much of a crowd after awhile. I know that Crush and Gusher did close early, around when it started to get dark. I can't remember if any other s did as well though. We did the Shark Reef after the sun went down which was different. It is probably better to do that while the sun is still out though so you can see more. But we had lots of fun and it stayed warm even after the sun went down. HTH :sunny: Rebecca
