We have been on the tour twice and loved it both times. The biggest advantage is not having to show up to a show 20-30 minutes early to get the best seats. While everyone else is waiting for the show to start, you are feeding the animals or enjoying other parts of the tour.
In a nutshell, the tour gives you a bunch of information about the park and animals and gets you some lunch and animal feedings in between showtimes. The all day dining and front of the line makes the rest of the day better! You can get there early for breakfast, take the tour which does give some time for lunch, but once your done - you can eat and ride as much as you want for the rest of the day.
We will be there next week and we chose NOT to do the tour again and this is why:
1) with no Clyde and Seymour - there is one less show to have to fit into a busy day.
2) with all day dining, there is never an incentive for Sharks Underwater Grill or Dine with Shamu. We opted for Dine with Shamu this time around
3) we purchased quick queue by itself - only 3 real shows to juggle (shamu, dolphins, allure), a huge buffet for dinner and quick queue should allow us to hit the highpoints.
We lose the feeding of the animals, which we do enjoy, so we will see if we made a wise choice.
Our week consists of Discovery Cove, both Universals, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Aquatica and Sea World - so if the kids complain that they didn't throw fish into a dolphin's mouth...well, I don't know how I will react but it probably won't be positive with a smile!!!
